Durga Puja Pandal to Reflect the Grandeur of Kerala’s Iconic Temple
Mumbai (Anil Bedag): Celebrating eight decades of faith, culture, and tradition, North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja returns with its grand 80th edition. Scheduled to take place from October 16 to 20 at the SNDT campus in Juhu, Mumbai, the festival will bring together Bengali culture, spirituality, and the city’s rich cultural diversity.
This year, the puja pandal will be designed to reflect the grandeur of Kerala’s renowned Guruvayur Temple, offering devotees an extraordinary spiritual experience. The traditional idol of Goddess Durga, crafted by experienced artisans from Kolkata, will be one of the major highlights of the celebrations.
Along with devotion and spirituality, visitors can look forward to traditional Bengali bhog, cultural performances, and a festive marketplace. Dedicated to the enduring legacy of the Mukherjee family, the celebration will also pay tribute to the memories of its departed members.
Spanning eight remarkable decades, North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja stands as a testament to the fact that Durga Puja is much more than a religious festival—it is a living symbol of love, unity, and cultural heritage.
